Cecilia Forest

Starting at Dario's Cafe in Hout Bay, we cycle through the wetland and valley up Constantia Nek into Newlands Forest. Enjoy wonderful views until we reach the M3 Newlands.

Cecilia Forest e-MTB

Here we enjoy a coffee break at Kirstenbosch Gardens before heading up to Constantia Nek and through the valley, back to Hout Bay.

e-MTB & Wine

Join us to discover the variety of South African terrain. Starting at Groot Constantia, we cruise along the tracks of Constantia and Tokai to the Steenberg winery for our first wine tasting. Next, choose between Buitenverwachting or Klein Constantia wineries for the second stop before heading through the suburb of Constantia. 

CONSTANTIA GLEN WINE AND CHEESE

A coffee break at Hohenort Cellars Hotel will energise us before we make our way up Constantia Nek to Constantia Glen (or Beau Constantia) where we enjoy our final wine tasting and the tour ends.

Duration: 4 hours (30 km + 250 m climbs)

Around the Cape

Discover the beautiful Cape scenery. Starting from Constantia Nek, we take a gravel road to Hout Bay. Ride the famous and spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive, with many fantastic photo stops along the way. Arriving in Noordhoek, we take the Ou Kaapseweg to the top.

Descending through the Silvermine Reserve through beautiful Constantia Winelands scenery, we will have the last climb before enjoying delicious wine and food at the La Parada restaurant.


Duration: 4 - 5 hours (50 km + 1000 hm)

Tokai Forest to Silvermine Dam

Discover the unique nature of Tokai Reserve. This unique adventure moves from High Constantia, along the Spaanschemat River to the entrance of Tokai Reserve forest park. Enjoy incredible views on the way up to the Silvermine Dam, over Muizenberg, False Bay and the east side of the Cape.

The second part of the trip follows a single-track through Tokai forest. We finish our day with a glass of wine at the Constantia Uitsig (Constantia Glen). This private tour is flexible and takes into account any of your specific needs or desires. Experience and knowledge of mountain biking is essential to enjoy this ride,

Table Mountain

This 27km mountain bike ride starts at the lower cable car station and follows the road towards Devil’s Peak. Riding on winding gravel roads to the top, where your efforts are rewarded with views of both Table Bay and False Bay.  We descend steeply until reaching the single trails at Rhodes Memorial before the return ride back up to Tafelberg Road.

Tabel Mountain Biking Trail

An option for fit mountain bikers with previous technical riding experience is to opt for a longer ride starting at the Cape Town Waterfront, climbing Signal Hill and onto the trails along the lower slopes of Table Mountain to Rhodes Memorial. This route is described as challenging due to the steep climbs and loose gravel roads with climbs of 600 -1000 metres in under 30km.
